The Independence Day celebration was held with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at CMS College of Education on 15 August 2026, attended by the management committee members, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and students of the college.
The Celebration
The programme commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony, performed by Dr. O. B. Pramod Kumar. The National Flag was hoisted with due respect, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The gathering observed the ceremony with pride and patriotic fervour.
Following the flag hoisting, Dr. O. B. Pramod Kumar delivered an inspiring Independence Day address. He highlighted the significance of Independence Day, the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters, and the responsibilities of citizens in building a strong and progressive nation. He encouraged the students to uphold the values of discipline, unity, patriotism and social responsibility.
The Management Committee members also participated in the celebration and extended their greetings to the students and staff. Their presence added dignity and importance to the occasion.
The celebration provided an opportunity for everyone to remember the contributions of the freedom fighters and to reaffirm their commitment towards the development and progress of the nation. The programme concluded with a sense of patriotism and pride among all the participants, leaving a memorable impression on the students and staff of CMS College of Education.
